• eGLJ provides searchable access to curated Gauhati Law Journal materials, extracted metadata, headnotes, judgment text, and related research features.
• The platform is intended to support legal research. It does not replace professional legal advice, independent verification, or official court records.
• Search results, extracted text, and rendered documents may depend on source quality, OCR, conversion, indexing, and administrative review.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs through your account.
• Access to full-text judgments and document bundles is granted according to the package purchased, admin-assigned entitlement, or other access rules shown on the platform.
• You must provide accurate registration and payment information and keep your account email current for access, receipts, and service notices.

• Paid packages are processed through Razorpay or another payment service shown at checkout.
• Access is granted after successful payment verification by the platform. Failed, pending, disputed, or reversed payments may not unlock access.
• Package price, duration, included documents, and access type are shown before checkout. Taxes, gateway fees, or charges may apply where applicable.
• Refund requests, if any, are reviewed case by case based on access status, duplicate payments, payment failure evidence, and applicable law.

• You may use eGLJ for lawful legal research, case preparation, academic reference, and professional study.
• You may not scrape, bulk download, redistribute, resell, mirror, or commercially exploit platform content unless eGLJ gives written permission.
• You may not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the platform, reverse engineer restricted systems, or use automated traffic that harms service performance.

• The eGLJ interface, compilation, indexing, extraction workflow, metadata organization, and platform content presentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• Court judgments and public legal materials may have their own legal status, but eGLJ may hold rights in its edited, compiled, digitized, structured, or platform-specific presentation.
• No ownership rights are transferred to you except the limited access rights expressly provided with your account or package.

• We aim to keep search, metadata, and document rendering reliable, but errors, omissions, conversion issues, downtime, and delays can occur.
• You should verify important citations, holdings, procedural history, and legal positions against authoritative sources before relying on them.
• We may modify, suspend, replace, or remove features, packages, documents, or access paths when needed for maintenance, correction, security, licensing, or business reasons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, eGLJ is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business-loss damages arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the platform or its content.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection, data protection, and payment regulations.
